Guangya school was founded in September 18, 1992, located in Dujiangyan, the world cultural heritage site, Chengdu, Dujiangyan. It is the first full-time boarding school founded by citizens in the new China from 1949.

Guangya school, with its rich and flexible elective courses, beautiful and safe campus environment and a full range of sports facilities, has become an ideal place for students to study in China. In 1995, Guangya school was accepted by IBO (International Diploma organization) as IB alliance school. In 2007, Cambridge (A-Level) Examination Center and American AP (Advanced Placement) International Examination Center in 2009 were both settled down. The new international art high school in 2017 has provided a high-end international learning platform for countless students pursuing art and design.
